Privacy Policy

What we collect, and why
- Birth details you submit (full name, birth date, birth time if you know it, birth city) are used for exactly one purpose: computing and writing your report.
- Your email address, used to deliver your report and the links belonging to your order, or, if you request it, your free reading.
- Order details handled by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record. We never see your card details.
- Anonymous usage counts (page views and a random per-session id that is not linked to you) so we can see how many people visit.
Legal basis
- Your report: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Without your birth data we cannot produce what you bought.
- Sensitive themes: your explicit consent, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, given by ticking the separate consent box at intake. Reports may describe personal traits, relationships and wellbeing tendencies. We record the wording you agreed to and the time you agreed.
- The free reading and the insights email: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, withdrawable at any time.
- Running and securing the site: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Your report is written by AI
The chart behind your report is computed by deterministic astronomical math. The written interpretation is generated by an AI system from that computed chart, then validated against it before delivery. No human reads your birth data in order to write your report. Reports are interpretive, for self-reflection, and are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice.
No automated decisions with legal effect. Nothing in this service makes an automated decision that produces legal effects for you or similarly significantly affects you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Your report is a document you read; it does not decide anything about you, and it must not be used to make decisions about employment, education, insurance, credit or health.
The free test
The on-page birth date test runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type there is stored or sent to us unless you explicitly ask us to email you your results.
Who processes your data
- All-Inkl.com (Dresden, Germany): hosting of the site, the order database and your finished report.
- Lemon Squeezy (USA, a Stripe company), merchant of record: payment, invoicing and VAT. They are the controller for the payment itself under their own privacy policy.
- GitHub Actions, a Microsoft company (USA): the automated worker that generates your report runs there. Your intake data passes through it while your report is being produced.
- Anthropic (USA): the AI service that writes your report from your computed chart. API data is not used to train models.
- Open-Meteo (geocoding): converts your birth city into coordinates. Only the city name is sent, never your name or email.
- Plausible Analytics (EU): privacy-first, cookieless page statistics. No cookies, no personal data, you cannot be identified.
- FormSubmit: used only as a fallback path for the free reading form if our own endpoint is unreachable.
Our web fonts are served from our own server, so loading a page sends nothing to Google or any other font provider.
Transfers outside the EU
Lemon Squeezy, GitHub and Anthropic are based in the United States, so producing and selling your report involves a transfer to a third country. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the providers' data processing terms, and, where the provider is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You may request a copy of the safeguards in place by emailing us.
Hosting and retention
Your finished report is served from a private link containing a long random token that cannot be guessed. The page tells search engines not to index it and is delivered over an encrypted connection.
- Birth details are deleted from the order record 30 days after delivery. They are needed only to produce the report and to honour the refund window.
- Your hosted report stays reachable for 12 months after delivery, then our copy is removed and the link shows a short note explaining why. Save the PDF and it is yours for good. Ask us at any time and we delete the report, the link and the order data sooner.
- Invoices and payment records are kept by the merchant of record for as long as tax law requires.
What we never do
We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use your birth details for anything except your report. There is no account, no password and no login wall.
Cookies and consent
The site sets nothing on your device that is not needed to make it work, until you say otherwise. On your first visit you are asked once. If you accept, we load the payment provider's checkout script and count anonymous page views, which stores a random session id in your browser. If you choose essentials only, neither is loaded, and checkout still works through the payment provider's own page. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can clear it any time by clearing site data. Our page statistics tool sets no cookies at all.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Email hello@yourdecode.com and we will act on it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority in the EU or UK country where you live.
